Someone replied that “Timothy 1:10 is what a 3rd party wrote” when trying to say that Jesus was not against homosexuality. Is there there anything that can be directly attributed to Jesus that teaches against homosexuality.

To complement what sllhouette wrote,

When Jesus said, I will send you the HS, who will cause you to remember all that I have taught you [Jn 14:26]. Therefore, when the apostles taught us through scripture, it was exactly what Jesus taught them.

When Paul said the following, the Holy Spirit was reminding Paul of what Jesus taught.
  • 1 Corinthians 6: 9 - 10 no sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Thinking ahead, some try and argue in response to that, well that’s just Paul talking, but what about what Jesus taught? That’s a bogus argument.

It’s a bogus argument because Jesus didn’t write anything down. The only way we know that Christ said anything was through the apostles and through the Church. How do we know that he really said anything that is in scripture? If you question the truth the apostles give, you have to question their depiction of Jesus.
