Third Prayer Intention for po18guy

Hello again, this is po18guy’s daughter.

I realize that he already has two other prayer threads, but what I’m asking you to pray for now is rather important. As you all know, my dad has lymphoma and his oncologist is having a bone marrow transplant done because my father’s immune system is pretty much shot. The only problem with that is that there are currently no matches in the world bank because he has a “rare immune system”, according to his doctor. My brother and I were tested two weeks ago and we find out tomorrow if we are matches. The chances are slim but it’s happened at the hospital before.

So I guess I’m just asking that you pray for a match because that’s what my father needs at the moment.

I internally groaned seeing this thread, Danigirl thinking it didn’t bode well. But thank you very much for giving a real idea of what’s going on with your Dad at present. He’s an amazing person of generosity and faith, and you must be so proud to have him as your Dad.

Almighty God You know where a donor match can be found. Please alert and inspire the right person or persons to come forward to meet Jim’s urgent need.

I’ll pray very much that a match can be found.

Lord, in Your great mercy please provide for our dear brother a match for this bone marrow transplant. I stand together in prayer lifting my brother to You and his precious family. Surround them now with Your peace and hope. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

If my brother and I aren’t a match, then I don’t really want to think about what will happen.

Your dad has incredible strength, and he really has imprinted my life forever. His zeal for the faith is contagious. Please tell him we care so much about him, and are praying! *
