Whenever a message begins with “X regrets to announce”, there is almost a sense of glee in the expressed sorrow.
Oh well. God will triumph in His glory anyway. We can never get too angry with our fellow sinners, because it would be easy for us to fall into sin when we have power, too. If you’re called to clerical life, never pray that you become anything higher than a humble priest. This always goes to your head, no matter who you are!
It would have been nice to see, hear, or witness this solemn Mass, but there will be others.
Oh… I only read the press release, and had no idea what the Paulus Institute is. I think my gut reaction was simply to read the “we regret to inform you”-type notification as a generic corporate letter of neutral ‘regret’. It was my own fault, and I was arrogant to immediately dismiss it as such. Please pray for me, that the spirits of falsity, anger, and presumption will not inform my will any longer.
