My wife and I have 2 kids. Our families knows we’re the religious sort (in both of our families, only my wife’s mother is also Catholic, while the rest have no religious affiliation, more or less).
A year or two ago, we were given a children’s bible. I was pretty happy with it, started skimming it, had nice illustrations, not too many words (my kids were like 3 and 1 at the time). Then I started reading about the Last Supper, and in this book, when Jesus broke the bread he said, ``This bread is like my body’’ or some rubbish. I no longer have the book so I can’t give the exact quote, but I’m pretty sure that was it.
Anyway. So my question is, what other things have you seen for children which are supposedly from the Bible but clearly not?
