The blog, which calls itself ‘Catholic Religion Today’, contains links to several anti-Catholic websites.

It also contains lots of material which is way out of line with Church teaching, inaccurate, and some of which may cross the borderline of heresy.

Curious.

A blogster or blogstress may, of course, blog whatever he or she wishes; still, such material should not be presented in a way that suggests that it represents the official teachings of Catholicism or is sanctioned by the Church.

A disclaimer would help. If the site contains one, I did not see it.

It seems to me that the other poster’s sole purpose in using this forum is to promote that site and one or two others like it.

This site needs more than a discalimer. It looks intentionally deceptive to me.

i don’t think it 's better than the true love between the catholic:confused:

Is your catholic faith important to you?
Should your potential mate share your faith & values?
Looking for fellowship with other catholic singles?
🤷 🤷

Seems this should be moved to the Apologetics forum.

OP - the burden of proof is on the person making claims about the Catholic Church. The accusor (you) must prove your assertions are true.

So, prove it, from official Church documents (not Uncle Billy Ray Jim Bob’s cousin who married one of em Catholics and said these things were true.)

Long time no see, Island Oak.

Whoever the OP was, he has now been banned.

I did check out the site. While I cannot be sure, I think we encountered the author of most of it trying to drum up business. The page about Batman did not ring true. There was a lot on demons and other theophostic activity that did not seem in line with Church teaching.

I did submit the site to Catholic Culture for their review service.
