This is probably a dumb question but are BOTH person confessing and confessor to not speak of what is said?

If you were given some helpful advice in confession, feel free to share it. Only the priest hearing the confession is bound to secrecy regarding the sins confessed. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says:
1467 Given the delicacy and greatness of this ministry and the respect due to persons, the Church declares that every priest who hears confessions is bound under very severe penalties to keep absolute secrecy regarding the sins that his penitents have confessed to him. He can make no use of knowledge that confession gives him about penitents’ lives.[ 72] This secret, which admits of no exceptions, is called the “sacramental seal,” because what the penitent has made known to the priest remains “sealed” by the sacrament.

You are not under the seal at all, you could say word for word everything you said to the public and there is nothing wrong with that.

However, the priest can neither confirm nor deny or even say one word about it as he is under the seal.

You can freely talk about what you have said in confession, the priest however is bound by the seal. Just as with a doctor: you are free to share your health information with whoever you see fit, the doctor on the other hand may not.

The priest is bound by the seal. He cannot say what you confessed or even that you came to confession.

You are free to announce to the entire world what you confessed. It may not be advisable but you can.

If the priest gave you advice unless it was absolutely unique to your situation it may be worth sharing so others can benefit from it. Even if it was completely unique to your situation you are free to share. It’s the priest bound by the seal not you.

To add for completeness: If you had confessed through an interpreter the interpreter would be bound by the seal in the same way as the priest.

It’s not a dumb question, you are legitimately curious about something

No. The priest can’t discuss the confession. You are free to talk about your own confession though.
If you accidentally overhear someone else’s confession or part of it, then the seal applies to you.
