I confess that I am not an ardent believer yet and am not even sure whether I can still call myself a Catholic.

You were baptized, so you are Catholic. There is need to to worry on this point.

Recently, I find myself PMOing at least once every 14 days and spending 2-3 hours per “session”.

It would not be unreasonable to go to confession every 14 days, then. Try to include 2-3 hours of studying scripture and the catechism as well every two weeks.

I see that many people on this forum and elsewhere have expressed their desires to quit PMO (porn, masturbation, orgasm) alltogether

I’ve never heard this acronym, and frankly it is kind of gross. It treats this problem as something monolithic that must be conquered all at once. Each is an independent sin that you can work on between visits to confession.

Try to imagine the lives of each actor and actress. Imagine the loneliness that must accompany their job. Realize their job is harming them spiritually and physically. Pray for them.

Commit to not harming others, pray for their healing and conversion. Work to get out of the self-centered trap of these sins. Go to confession for your sins, and pray for your own healing.

It is a life long journey. Leave your sins in the confessional, and go in peace!
