A couple years ago I posted a picture I scanned from the 1958 book This is the Mass:



The book, written by Henri Daniel-Rops with photos by Yousuf Karsh, shows Bishop Fulton Sheen celebrating the Tridentine Mass.

Well, I finally got around to scanning the entire book (minus the cover and blank pages) and posted it to my Flickr account. In addition to a bunch of photos (all except the one above are black and white), the complete text is available explaining the history and development of the Mass. As an aside, perhaps ironically, the letter at the beginning is from J.B. Montini, the future Pope Paul VI who held that post at that time.
