Just need to find out what we are celebrating the coming year, having completed the year of the priest.
 
I don’t think anything’s been announced, so we’ll just have to consider this “Ordinary Time.”
 
Just a passing idea. Can we celebrate it as the year of the Pope. I love him like the Lord!
 
I’ve been wondering the same thing! I don’t think anything has been announced.

You should love the Pope, but I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t love him like the Lord.

the pope is a human, a holy pious human, but still he is a human, as a catholic you are called to love God above ALL else

the US bishops have adopted Matrimony the Sacrament of Enduring Love as the theme for catechetical Sunday and the coming catechetical year, and conjointly have launched a new program for parishes and dioceses to implement strengthen marriages, but that is for the US, still waiting to see what the Pope has planned
 
Is there always a theme for the year? If so, how far back does this extend? I’d be interested to see a list.
