Curiously, it looks like
Mormon.org has a new site for Easter,
helives.mormon.org. On that website, there is a section called “Easter Week”, and says this-“
The last week of Jesus Christ’s life changed the world forever. See how each day can help us better understand His miraculous mission—then and now.”. They then go through each day.
But yes, one thing I missed during my time as a Mormon was Holy Week. It is great to now participate in beautiful sacred liturgies marking the last moments of Christ’s earthly life.
I’m going to St. Patrick’s Cathedral shortly for the Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion and Death. For some reason it seems as if I’m working every Holy Saturday! I don’t believe I’ve ever attended the Vigil Mass. Hopefully next year.
