Hi!So his JEWISH WAY is somehoe better than the HOLY SPIRIT led practices of the RCC:shrug:
From our Catholic Catechism:
1345 As early as the second century we have the witness of St. Justin Martyr for the basic lines of the order of the Eucharistic celebration. They have stayed the same until our own day for all the great liturgical families. St. Justin wrote to the pagan emperor Antoninus Pius (138-161) around the year 155, explaining what Christians did:
On the day we call the day of the sun, all who dwell in the city or country gather in the same place.
The memoirs of the apostles and the writings of the prophets are read, as much as time permits.
When the reader has finished, he who presides over those gathered admonishes and challenges them to imitate these beautiful things.
Then we all rise together and offer prayers* for ourselves . . .and for all others, wherever they may be, so that we may be found righteous by our life and actions, and faithful to the commandments, so as to obtain eternal salvation.
When the prayers are concluded we exchange the kiss.
**Then someone brings bread and a cup of water and wine mixed together to him who presides over the brethren.
He takes them and offers praise and glory to the Father of the universe, through the name of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and for a considerable time he gives thanks (in Greek: eucharistian) that we have been judged worthy of these gifts**.
When he has concluded the prayers and thanksgivings, all present give voice to an acclamation by saying: ‘Amen.’
When he who presides has given thanks and the people have responded, those whom we call deacons give to those present the “eucharisted” bread, wine and water and take them to those who are absent." End Quotes
While I TRULY appreciate the effort, I neverheless hold to OUR-Catholic Way, as being GOD"S WAY. Amen!

This video is from a Messianic Jewish site. They are fundamentalist Christians who emphasize the Jewish origins of Christianity and maintain some Jewish practices. In my experience, they are some of the most virulent anti-Catholics in existence, though individuals within the faith may of course differ. They are not to be confused with the Hebrew Catholic Association, which is made up of Jewish converts to Catholicism and their descendants.Hi!
I was under the assumption that he was once Jewish and then converted to Catholicism. Perhaps I was wrong though…
God bless!
Whoops, sorry, I didn’t realize that… my bad. This video is from a Messianic Jewish site. Yes,for example in charismatic and messianic communities the State of Israel is of great importance in political, spiritual, eschatological, and apocalyptic sense.Oh please, this guy stills wears a kippah and calls himself a Jew. He has clearly not accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is simply more propaganda to get us Christians to support Israel at all costs.
There are lots and lots of Jewish believers in our Messiah out there. Lots still wear a kippah and they would still say say they are Jewish. Jesus was Jewish, why wouldn’t they be? They will always feel a personal identity with their Jewish roots. I know lots and lots of Jewish Believers. None would deny still being Jewish.Oh please, this guy stills wears a kippah and calls himself a Jew. He has clearly not accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is simply more propaganda to get us Christians to support Israel at all costs.
CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: St. Justin MartyrHi!
I was under the assumption that he was once Jewish and then converted to Catholicism. Perhaps I was wrong though…

So was Jesus Saviour the Messiah or he was a Jew?FACT - Jesus of Nazareth; the Messiah - was a Jew ; Joseph was a Jew; Mary was a Jewess; the disciples were Jews and Jesus specifically said he had not come to this World to change the Law (the Law of Moses). Now you can try your slight of hand to restore your golden haired Christ but historically the men and women in the Gospels are JEWS. Like it or not they did follow Jewish ways and beliefs radicalised by Jesus teachings. It was Paul not Jesus who broke with the Jewish faith. Jesus lived and died a Jew.
But we believe in Jesus as God. That alone seperates us from Judaism. Both - the Messiah is a Jewish concept - you even quote Jewish texts in your services to that seek to explain who Jesus is .
