There is but one roman church. I don’t know the exact number of orthodox churches.
But there are around 30K, last I heard, other christian sects, most differing on the opinions of no more than a few bible verses or doctrines. They are so fractured and splintered, they cannot even be considered in the same area. " united in christ " is a slogan and a catchword. I can’t even identify most of the differences between all these sects or even the names and numbers of the sects themselves. Its hard to take it seriously, or view them all as sincere, when there is this much " cafeteria christian " hodge pdoge. This isn’t an attack on any individual person, or at least not intended to be. Rather its a question about the " explosion "
