okay, its 2:27 am, i decided to go on my knees & pray the rosary, i got on my knees but took breaks off my knees while praying, the concrete is hard as heck, ugh if i could i’d get on my knees for a long time i would but it starts hurting & you kinda feel nausea feeling like you’re about to throw up, why?

Hard surfaces like concrete DO hurt the knees - after all, they’re not a terribly well-cushioned part of the body! And concrete is usually fairly cold, so that would make it more painful.

And merely staying in any one posture, whichever it be, for a long time will be uncomfortable. The human body is designed not to stay in one posture for a long time, but to move and shift around. Even while people are asleep they will keep shifting their position from the back to side or stomach, or move around in other ways.

As for the nausea - because your knees are bent by your kneeling, and pressure is being put on your skin by the contact with the floor, your circulation is actually being cut off, at least a little bit. That might cause some light-headedness (you aren’t getting enough bloodflow to the brain) and nausea which can go with it.

so i didnt sin? it hurts like heck but i can pray on the carpet or wherever its just the concrete GOSH it hurts on concrete

Of course you didn’t sin. God doesn’t necessarily require us to be physically uncomfortable - didn’t He feed those 5,000 who grew hungry while listening to Him?

And you can absolutely pray wherever you like. St Teresa of Avila even wrote about praying while seated on the toilet. Not exactly my cup of tea, but then I do have some good ideas while on the throne, so it might be worth trying. 🤷

I tend to pray silently as I go about life. It helps me when I am in the dentist chair 😦 to pray the rosary or divine mercy chaplet. I use my fingers to keep track, I call them my portable rosary. Makes root canal faster & not as painful (just had 2 because of a severe abscess)
Probably the kneel is my least common posture

One can pray kneeling…standing…sitting…lying down…falling from a cliff (if such should happen…we better try to pray)…

The only time we need to kneel is …well at certain points in Liturgy…(and then if one can’t …one can’t" …or ones confessor tells you to pray on ones knees a few prayers or something like that
