Hello!Hello everyone. I just wanted to know something. My grandmother recently died on Aug. 31 and ever since I have been wondering abt something. My grandmother was a faithful Sikh and prayed everyday and visited the temple every Sunday for service. She hardly ever hurt a soul and if u look at her life, she had none of the 7 deadly sins. However, she didn’t noe who Jesus was and never encountered the Gospel. Does this mean that my grandmother will go to hell? Also, I’m a faithful Sikh too, however I also go to church on Fridays for eucharistic adoration because i feel so in touch with God in this simple form of worship. However, I don’t see myself getting baptised in my life but I respect and follow the Gospel of Jesus. Does this mean i’ll go to hell, cuz i’m not baptised?![]()
I was just reading a wonderful book on purgatory last night. And the book advises never to give up praying for your deceased loved ones. It explained that God does not usually let us know what has happened to our dearly departed because He never wants us to lose hope! Even if you are praying for your grandma right now, God foresaw this prayer on your part (and all of the prayers of we who are praying for your grandma and you, right now) and could have applied them to her before her death! Our God is so amazing! He is so loving and so good! Any soul who sincerely wants to know and love Him, He will not reject! As you are familiar with Eucharistic adoration, are you familiar with Mary, the Mother of God?
She is always present, adoring her son especially during Eucharistic adoration. Next time you attend adoration, just say a little prayer to her to help you to know God’s will for you. She will never fail to help you! That I promise you!
May the Holy Spirit enlighten you and be your guide!
I’ll say a rosary for you tonight!
To Jesus, through Mary !
