Where is the Church? Is the Pope raising an army to go get some payback? Why does the Christian world let this sort of thing just slide? You slaughtered thousands, if not millions, of Cathars back in the day just for not agreeing with the Church- so why not kick butt and take names for offenses done to Christians directly today?

The situation with the Cathars was a lot more complex than that… there was no separation of Church and state. Persecution of heretics was often in the state’s interests.
