Ok, I would say you’re right - that sort of prayer definitely doesn’t belong to the Catholic Church alone. I would also say, though, and call me biased if you like, that it has found its deepest expression in the lives of Her saints.
Darned few have heard it and fewer would think of its actual significance. But I know how you feel; I felt the same way a long time ago.I haven’t heard of that theory you were talking about before, so I’m not sure exactly. What i was trying to say is that I do think that when Catholic theology is lived, it has much more potential to propel a person to use their time well and live well. Global economics and social theories are too big for me : )

I hear it is excellent.*Read Thomas Malory’s Le Morte d’Arthur (The Death of Arthur), book 7. It’s one of my favorite stories in there.
