This time of year is hard for a lot of people id just would like to say i understand and pray that you all get through Christmas ok
i myself find this time of year hard especially new year …i hope you all have a good time this year those who are drinking please dont drive if you have a car use a taxi even though its 3 times the rare as normal and its costly there would be even most cost if you lost your life due to drink driving or someone elses life

if you are drinking please be safe
Remember the true reason for Christmas and that is Jesus …OUR LORD

thanks emily. i got rid of the Christmas hassle (gift buying) years ago and just give to charity. no one i know needs anything, and when they do, they get it then.

we eliminated all ‘holiday’ parties, and Christmas cards. so it’s just a nice time of year to think and read about the birth of our savior. Christmas eve and day are a nice time of mass and family, no stress.

as for new years, i gave that up 40 years ago, same with birthdays. one day is the same as the next, except sundays.🙂

I’m sorry for your loss. It can seem cruel to have reminders of what time of the year it is, when that time of the year is connected with situations and events that we’d like to let go of. 😦
