I am a practicing RC I attend Mass every day I pray the Rosary at least once a day,
I have very few friends simply because my believes are so different from anybody else that we simply have nothing in common.
I do have extended family cousins, To the best of my knowledge not one of them practice although they where all baptized into the faith at least most of them.
The few cousins I manage to stay in contact with do not practice, They all know very well I am a little bit different then they are but for the most part they tolerate me and I get to see them a few times a year,
When you speak of Evangelicalism it bothers my conscience because I don’t dare say anything to my cousins because I already know what the reaction would be and I don’t want to lose them being the only family I
have…
Is it okay If I simply pray for them to come back to the faith? If I must speak up and lose what family I have left I will do it but then I would have no family left?
What is the right thing to do. It must also be said I am very shy, not good at any kind of confrontation, but do try and get involved in Parish activities.
There are times when I feel I am living in a world gone mad.
