I read in a book of letters from Cardinal de Lubac that during the reign of Pius X a list of Thomistic propositions were supported by the Pope, but when other schools of thought, like the followers of Scotus, objected, they were told their system was alright. Was this decree called Lamentabili Sane?

I read Lamentabili Sane today, and no it has nothing to do with Thomistic philosophical reason, except proposition 58: Truth is no more immutable than man himself, since it evolved with him, in him, and through him.

I’ll have to keep looking for the other decree. God bless you
