Thornton, CO parishes?

My newlywed daughter and her husband have just arrived in Denver to spend the school year working with AmeriCorps in a literacy program, prior to entering grad school next year. They have found an apartment in Thornton, just north of the city, and want to find a good parish family. They are both quite devout, but not “traditionalist”.

Any suggestions? They would like to get involved with the parish, meet other young people (they are 23 and 26.)
