Those ah-ha moments- Father's homily, etc

Yesterday I loved our priest’s homily on the importance of the Blessed Sacrament and how all of the sacraments lead back to the Eucharist. He also quoted one of the saints saying that sacramental marriage is to bring up children to receive the Eucharist. I had one of those eye awakening moments. Have you ever had one of those moments due to a priest’s homily or a realization about the sacraments?
 
So, gatewood… any regrets about going to (and eventually joining) the FSSP?:D:p

Yes, when I was teaching a CCD class of highschool students. I was asked a question that normally I had difficulty getting a satisfactory answer across. I heard myself saying an answer that was clear and beautiful. The amazing thing was that the answer didn’t originate in my brain. I was listening to myself, along with the students. Then I gratefully realized that the Holy Spirit had put those words in my mouth, thanks to the Sacrament of Confirmation. Never was a Sacrament more appreciated. That was many years ago, but the words keep resounding in my memory.

Oh, what were the words? Do you mind sharing? I realize that sometimes explanations don’t come across as well out of context…
 
I go to daily Mass. At times I have been asked why. How to communicate love to those who don’t experience the same feeling? If you have to ask, there are no words adequate to explain. However, in this class of juniors and seniors there was a girl who always attended with her boyfriend, and only because of her mother’s insistence. We were discussing the Sunday obligation of Mass attendance, and I mentioned that some of us attend everyday. This young lady very sarcastically asked why anyone would go everyday. What to say to her and not lose other students besides? That is when I heard myself saying, “When you love someone you don’t want to see him just once a week.” The girl nodded. That she could understand. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
