Well lets all of us do something good out of this ridiculous thread by ALL reporting him to the Mod’s. If this isn’t a case of troll behaviour, I don’t know what is.Let’s see how long this pointless thread can go on…
I don’t think that’s necessary. It’s pretty clear what the truth is in this matter…sometimes an overwhelming response is better than removal.Well lets all of us do something good out of this ridiculous thread by ALL reporting him to the Mod’s. If this isn’t a case of troll behaviour, I don’t know what is.
Are you the Pope? Do you think you carry more authority than the Magisterium of the Church? You know who else thought they were more Catholic than the Pope? MARTIN LUTHER.Whoever says going up for a blessing is not a sin is quite a lay person.
You are OBLIGATED to recieve Holy Communion if you get into the line. Even if you remembered you are in mortal sin or that you ate something or whatever, you cannot not recieve, you are obligated to do so. It is a sin of scandal is you don’t.
Now I would like to argument on the suggestions of doing a spiritual communion in mortal sin… But that is another fight.
oO they can DO that? woah…If you are in the communion line and suddenly the Priest turns into a fire breathing dragon you are required to receive so as to not show disrespect for the Priest.
I do believe that would indeed turn him back into a Priest…oO they can DO that? woah…
I think my next line, in such a circumstance would be: “I’ve heard of transubstantiation, but this is RIDICULOUS!”![]()
Darn boggart priests…I do believe that would indeed turn him back into a Priest…
I thought about that too, but see then I’d have to also report myself and everyone else who keeps responding. It’s the endless responses that have grown this thread to 3 pages and counting now lol.Well lets all of us do something good out of this ridiculous thread by ALL reporting him to the Mod’s. Perhaps its just a thread? Is this thread blasphemy, madness, or is it Sparta?
Yes, there is. Redemptionis Sacramentum, an instruction issued by the CDW, is rather clear. With regard to entering the line without intending to receive Holy Communion there’s nothing prohibiting it.
So if I assist at more than one Mass per day, that makes me holier than those who only go to one Mass? What relevance is this in determining what constitutes scandal? Isn’t trying to impress us with your church-going habits a form of scandal? Certainly doesn’t fall under the virtue of humility. This is different from staying on the pew, since it is not an obligation to recieve at every mass. I have sometimes assisted 9 masses in a day. I could only recieve in two. Others don’t have to worry why I did not get up to recieve. But if I did, I cannot go back, even if I remember that this would be exceeding the limit placed by canon 917.
