Everything Jesus taught was about achieving eternal salvation, love one another as I have loved you, serving others, washing the feet of his disciples, love and pray for your enemies. Please tell me how any of this justifies carrying a gun and using it. I believe the UK law is more in line with the teaching of Jesus, when it comes to guns.Why does it matter whether Jesus expressly addressed this issue? The church has never restricted her doctrines to what can be gleaned from scripture. This is why you should not do it either.

I shall be out shortly wondering the streets until around 4 am, with two wonderful ladies, one who is almost eighty, and the other suffering from arthritis, we hope to bring a little peace to our town tonight. Thanks, and many people within our church share similar views to yourself, it can be difficult encouraging new volunteers to go out in faith. The Street Pastors imitative was intended to offer practical solutions to people on the streets, based on scripture.Well, I can applaud your actions even as I disagree with your position on this matter.
