Many here have made it very clear that they believe the government supports marriage to encourage procreation.

However, research indicates that it may be possible in the near future for two women to have a biological child. What are your thoughts on this matter.

Please don’t debate on the science of this; assume this is possible and post your thoughts on the matter.

I would simply refer to this document. The Church already has a very well documented stance on this type of biological manipulation.

I would also quote 1 Corinthians 10:23 “Everything is lawful,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is lawful,” but not everything builds up.

Along with 1 Corinthians 6:12 “Everything is lawful for me,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is lawful for me,” but I will not let myself be dominated by anything.*

Just because we possess the knowledge and ability to do something, does not mean it is ethical, moral, right, etc. to do it.

God bless.

I don’t think its wise. because its so away from things. for an example just a step away from creating a monkey man on purpose to study different things in man with a half man half money.then they will try to make one of those neanderthall men. Therefore sometimes they take it so far one more step and it is the mad scientist which gets put in jail . So the key is staying away from those steps that are close to saying from an alien perspective, these guys really are crazy.

Thoughts? It is wrong. It is not the way we were designed. A look from the atheist scope of reason, it is not wrong, and it is perfectly fine to do as long as it is in the reach of their authority, reason, and knowledge. This is why God is going to strip them each, along with everything else they have with pride, of their authority, reason, and knowledge, because they know no law or restriction, and they won’t let the Holy Spirit into their hearts for conversion to become Fulfilled Jews.

Actually, I think the science needs to be discussed. Parthenogenesis happens naturally in some non-human species. It does not, and will not, ever occur naturally in humans. It therefore is detrimental to the dignity of human life to artificially initiate parthenogenesis, for the same reasons that it is detrimental to human dignity to experiment on human embryos, or perform in vitro in fertilization.
