Thoughts on some Wikipedia edits

You’re impulse was correct, the article is written poorly.

The thing is, I’ve given up changing it back to what I had added, because it will just end in an editing war. There are plenty of biased people around, as can be seen from previous edits concerning the Scriptural foundation in Matthew 16:18. The guy reverting my edit back says:

“How many times do we have to go round this”

To which I replied:

“One will go around this as long as it takes. It is meant to clarify, since there are many misunderstandings and misconceptions pertaining to the name.”

Which then prompted:

“Not sure who you are a sock of, but you should know about WP:BRD, you’ve been reverted DISCUSS”

In short, I’m giving up because Wikipedia is not as free an open as it claims to be. I cited plenty of official and recognised sources, as was demanded at first, and then they still didn’t like it.
