Thoughts on these two baby names

We have narrowed the baby names list to one boy and one girl. We are not going to find out the gender ahead of time. I just wanted to get your thoughts and opinions.

How exciting! All 3 of our kids were “surprises”, so I love having the 2 names chosen. 😃

I think they’re both beautiful!
Eleanor is so classy, and lends itself well to the cutsie “Elly” nickname! :love: (or “Ella” or just “Elle”… all beautiful!)
And Grant is a nice, strong, manly name! 👍

GREAT choices! Congratulations on your new little blessing… whoever it is!
 
Are you “A-GUS-tin” or “Au-g’steen” people?

I kind of like the way Augstin Grant sounds…

They are both nice names.
 
I really admire St Augustine that is why we have chosen that name. But, we pronounce it Au-gus-tin.

Gosh I know I should never respond to these threads. Although, I am guessing you wouldn’t ask if you were expecting everyone to love your names.

We too are Augustin(e) fans, one of our adopted kids is Liam Augustin (no e on purpose just so folks will pronounce it correctly)

I like both names, congrats on not ‘having to know’ the sex ahead of time.
 
Oooooh, I really like both of those 🙂 Grant is a great name for a boy. And I love the nickname “Ella” for Eleanor!

I’m getting married in December and I can’t believe that sometime in the next couple of years (God willing) it will be my turn to think of names 🙂 (Though I admit…I kinda already have a few…hehe 😊 )
 
I like Eleanor, but not really Grant. I knew a couple people with that name, but none with Eleanor.
 
I like Eleanor too and not as much Grant. Grant is probably a nice name, just that the Grant I know isn’t a great guy. haha. Congratulations though!
