Some thoughts…
My parish hasn’t had mass this week. Monday-Friday. And honestly I’ve not has the greatest week. Lol. I know everyone has bad weeks, but I really think because it’s because or has something to do with the fact that I haven’t received Jesus sacramentally through this week … I even drive to my church and sat in the parking lot and prayed and read the Bible/spiritual works and that is one of the greatest events of this week (except that I got a kinda new job/promotion thing at work, maybe, well not maybe lol i know that was God) but I mean maybe that was God’s way of letting me know to not give up…That he still loves me…
Anyhow, this has made me realize how blessed I am and how blessed all Catholics are to be able to go to mass and receive Jesus, to commune and spend time with the Lord, the Jesus that loves us unconditionally, no matter what, he’s going to be with us and help us on the way, because, believe me, without him by my side/dwelling in me… I would NEVER make it…

Nobody makes it without Him. Christians or not. They just feel that they make it because of success that you can measure in this world. But even with success, if you haven’t got God you got nothing. If you have God you have everything even if you have very little.
About missing the Eucharist, certain Saints received it twice in their lifetime (St Mary of Egipt) yet they still got Sainthood. Don’t hold this against your parish priest or anything. You will receive it next time when available.
Maybe Psalm 102/103 will help you express your gratitude to the Lord in the meantime?

I consider that a grace - to truly know that one can do nothing without Him, that we are reliant on Him for everything, instead of relying on ourselves.

Yes it is… We are blessed that we don’t have to go it alone…

I know. Im not blaming my priest. I would never do that. He has a life to live too. Lol. But I have felt so “off” this week without going to mass.

For a while, I went to daily Mass. Then, due to a job change, I wasn’t able to do that. Now, due to chronic health problems, I’m not even able to make it every Sunday (although I try). It’s painful to not be there when I see the clock and know it’s that time. Yet, it also gives me an appreciation for the opportunities available around me because I know there are many communities that don’t have what I have; there are people who can’t take advantage of the frequent sacraments available nearby. I try to remember that when I offer a sad prayer of ‘missing out’ on Mass.

Some of the Sisters of Providence near me have a beautiful practice, because their work takes them away from the motherhouse so often, that they have a Reunion Prayer they pray along with either their Angelus or LOTH 3 times daily to spiritually reunite with their sisters in prayer and mission. We, too, should always be in reunion with God and our fellow pilgrims on this earthly mission whenever we can’t physically join together for worship.
