So, you still need to show that the death of the innocent one on the track is merely indirectly caused by showing how the “trolley/bullet” scenario differs in any essential way.
You still need to show how the tubal excision/trolley problem differ in any essential way. By the way, merely asserting they are different does not count.

As for the bullet/gun scenario, there are conditions under which firing the gun is moral. Among the factors that count is the intention. So if you would care to fill out that bullet scenario with all relevant details you will see that it does not reflect negatively on the trolley scenario.

The forum is open to everyone. The question was why you chose to respond to a criticism directed specifically at Economist as if it was directed at you.
