When the men in the gym are constantly looking at themselves in the mirror, is this considered vanity?
 
Depends. Are they doing it because they are making sure their form is correct while lifting?
 
Oh, good grief…is it vanity to look at yourself in the mirror in the morning? What about while you are in the car? :rolleyes:
 
I guess if it’s beyond moderation? Up to well-formed individual conscience?
 
Cyril, if it’s you looking, you know what’s in your heart.
If you are looking and see other men looking, you don’t know what’s in their heart.
As one said, “are they checking to see if their lifting form is correct?” Are they looking up to see if the person who was on the equipment they wanted to use next is getting up to leave? Are they looking to see if the buddy they’ve expected has come in? Are they checking to see if they have spinach on their teeth? Who knows?
