My husband’s bachelor party couldn’t have alcohol because there were a few who were underage. They went to an alcohol free karoki bar then went to the best man’s apartment and played videogames until the wee hours of the morning. They also did it the weekend before the wedding and not the night before.

Just recently my friend had a bachelorette party. We stayed at a hotel and did facials and watched movies and stuff. The next day we got our nails done and went to lunch at a nice restaurant. It was lots of fun and it stayed completely classy.
Her husband had a bachelor party in the same hotel. He and his friends got together and they had just about every video game system ever made and from what we heard they spent the entire time playing video games. I heard his groomsmen also took him out to dinner and made him wear a Batman mask the entire time.
There are ways to do these things right. You can certainly have fun and enjoy your last night of going out with friends without being married. After you get married your opportunity to have people over for all night video games or all night chick flicks goes way down. Of course, that doesn’t mean you party before your wedding while pretending to be SINGLE. You are engaged, after all. Try to plan a night with something in mind, “Would I be okay doing this if my fiance/fiancee was here?” If the answer is no, then make some different plans.

Laser tag is a team or individual sport or recreational activity where players attempt to score points by tagging targets, typically with a hand-held infrared-emitting targeting device. Infrared-sensitive targets are commonly worn by each player and are sometimes integrated within the arena in which the game is played. Since its birth in 1984, with the release of the Star Trek Electronic Phasers toy manufactured by the South Bend Electronics brand of Milton Bradley,[1] laser tag has evolved into both indoor and outdoor styles of play, and may include simulations of combat, role play-style games, or competitive sporting events including tactical configurations and precise game goals.
Laser tag is popular with a wide range of ages. When compared to paintball, laser tag is painless because it uses no physical projectiles, and indoor versions may be considered less physically demanding because most indoor venues prohibit running or roughhousing.

Make it instructional in a fun way – train him to be great at it. Give him a chef’s hat, apron, all the implements and supplies, a barbeque, and ask the guests to bring several kinds of meat and vegetables, with recipes.
Or have a bbq’ing contest. Maybe the group can also teach him how to make potato salad.
Get one of those cheap kiddie pools (he can save it for his future kids). For anything burned or dropped, there’s a dunk in the pool.

I assume you have some idea of what this groom likes if you know he is not that outdoorsy. How does he spend his free time? Take that and run with it.
Sense of adventure? Skydiving, etc.
Video games or movies? Rent out a movie theater screen and go nuts.

On the alcohol issue, I see little reason to restrict it to beer. I would rather not have any alcohol at a bachelor party because wet events in my experience have never ended up more fun than dry ones, but if you want booze, go for what the people involved actually like.
