Thursday, Jan. 22 is a Day of Penance. Regarding
the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision,
Roe vs. Wade (1973), the Bishops of the United
States have declared:
"…this day shall be observed in all dioceses of
the United States as a particular day of penance
for violations to the dignity of the human
person committed through acts of abortion, and
of prayer for the full restoration of the legal
guarantee of the right of life.”

What are you going to do that day ?

Jolly good! Wish they’d do the same in Australia.

I’ll probably go to daily Mass, say a special Rosary for Life, and skip dinner or something.

I’m going to try fasting today, but I’m sick (bronchitis and sinusitus), do we’ll see how it goes. I could also offer up my sickness and pain, too. Couldn’t hurt.
