is selling sporting event tickets for more than face value morally wrong? What if done on ebay?
Yes, if done without the permission of the ticket issuer. I understand, however, there is a growing movement to give a percentage of that profit to the ticket issuer. The profit then would not be morally wrong.is selling sporting event tickets for more than face value morally wrong?

What is the difference between auctioning something for the highest price you can get (ebay) and going out on the streets and selling a ticket for as much as someone will pay?Yes, if done without the permission of the ticket issuer. Many if not most of these tickets have the fine print to dissuade scalping. Punishable by law as well as being morally wrong.so someone educate me.
