Please disregard “describe yourself” in poll question.

How many hours a week do you devote to actual “Time with God” ?

Pious Devotion only, for example don’t include time spent on the internet discussing Catholicism, watching or listening to EWTN.(of course our CA Prayer Warriors can count time spent in prayer in response to requests)

Include Mass(s), Personal Prayer (rosary, novenas, chaplets, etc), other Public Devotion (rosary before Mass, Holy Hour of Adoration, First Friday/Saturday Devotions, etc), Reading the Scriptures.

Are you counting all time that the person spends in a recollected state? I mean, a person could be with God while driving down the highway, but they aren’t praying a rosary or anything. Or, they could be at a mass or a stations of the cross, but are distracted.

I would say, about 9-10. How come?
Hi brigid12, I’m just curious.

I intended to post in Spirituality, but boo-booed. I’ve pm’d the mod asking it be moved there.

Thanks for the reply 🙂

Anything you see as Catholic Devotion is fine. 🙂

I voted for more that 10 hours, because I go to daily Mass (7x1hr). I also pray nightly prayers, and short ejaculations throughout the day. Some nights (although not as much as I used to) I pray the rosary, which is now taking me about 30 minutes (before it took me an hour, and I don’t think I was too contemplative).

So I guess there’d be just a bit over 10 hours there.
