Yet, since he is principaled I wonder if sometimes he will break ranks with the Dems. Right now he owes them nothing.
I disagree. He ran as an Independent because an empty suit with deep pockets managed to win a primary election. But he is still a Democrat, he is not a Republican and without the Democrats he is nothing. He will caucas with the Democrats.

He will continue to be pro-abortion regardless of what party he is in.
 
And they will continue to do so until attitudes are changed, whatever the law says.

I wish, but the Dems have made a big thing of welcoming him back with open arms. He is a Dem first and foremost.
Yes, and I was Dem for my whole life until Bill Clinton made me sick and I had to review everything I was doing. I don’t think that Lieberman is so happy with those that dissed him. I am certain those actions will come back to haunt the Democrat Party. I really think this will be very interesting.

There are many that have jumped ship over the years. Look at Webb from VA- used to be Republican and now won as a Democrat.

So true. And there are many conservative Dems who are now Republicans.
