I knew when Cardinal Antonio Llovera Cañizares was named Prefect of The Congregation for Divine Worship, good things were to come.
It wasn’t long after the flock had left the last of 3 morning OF Masses today, that Fr Charles walked down the isle and began praying the Prayers at the Foot of the Altar. And when he delivered his homily, it was a doozy.
He proceeded to speak on the lack of vocations to the priesthood. He spoke of CITH. And the fruits of VII as well. And he pulled no punches. Nope, he speaks his mind, saving souls in the same way holy priests did before VII. Defending Tradition and leaving no doubt about the dangers of novelties introduced in the Liturgy. And he will not be silenced. He’s been doing it for years, right there form the pulpit of a diocesan parish.
Please pray for these holy priests who see the damage done, and who are now speaking out about it. Pray for Cardinal Cañizares, and for our papa, H. H. BXVI.
