for unity to be found in God’s laws and words, we would all have to agree on what laws and words come from God.

so, if all you are saying is that we should all work on agreeing upon what are God’s laws and words, who could disagree with that?

in fact, and it is a fact, the followers of the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity who became Incarnate in the man Jesus of Nazareth have been doing that, at His command, for the last two thousand years.

the words and laws of Jesus of Nazareth are the words and laws of God. the fullness of those words and laws reside in the Roman Catholic Church. from that is drawn the undeniable conclusion that anyone who is not a practicing Roman Catholic is not serious about the unity of mankind. at least, that is how i see it.

i see it that way because the words and laws of Jesus of Nazareth are the words and laws of God and Jesus of Nazareth created apostolic succession to ensure His words and laws were faithfully transmitted to His followers and the rest of the world.

as for taking a serious look at ourselves, many of the Lord’s flock go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, often called Confession, regularly; and, there is not a better way for a human being to take a serious look at oneself than by receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

do you have any other concerns that you feel need to be addressed?

That was akin to walking to the table of consultation saying here is the view, take it or leave it and walk out.

So the concern that needs to be addressed now by this approach, is what are the principals of heavenly sent consultation!

It is apparent the method you have expounded has not worked to date. Thus another method needs to be considered.

actually, the method proposed by Jesus does work.

i have no idea what method could possibly work better than following the man Jesus of Nazareth, the Incarnated Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity and the words and laws of God given to us by Him and through His Apostles.

i am in deep unity with ALL practicing catholics just as Jesus prayed. if others are not in unity with us through our Lord Jesus, you should ask them why not.

i cannot imagine a deeper, more profound, more loving and more peaceful unity than that which i experience in my Lord Jesus Christ. i invite you and everyone else who have not experienced it to abandon any commitments you might have to others and to join us in the Love available only through communion with Jesus of Nazareth. communion found in both professing faith in His apostolic successors and in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

when did you try my method? my method depends on faith, hope and charity as well as perseverance.

how can you say my method has failed if you have not tried it?

how can you say you have tried it if you have abandoned it?

why are you being so coy about what you actually mean when you speak about unity and how it should be achieved? you eagerly and willingly attack others and their comments about how they have experienced divine unity but offer nothing in place of their very real experiences.

you preach about it being time to take a serious look at ourselves but ignore what i said about the divinely created Sacrament of Reconciliation where in the followers of Jesus of Nazareth, the Incarnate Son of God, the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, take a far more serious look at themselves than any other people in this world.

do you have a reason for being so disingenuous? would you perhaps want to share your reason for these behaviors and comments?

Again Tony, I ask…were you Tonyfish58 last time ? Yes or no.

Yes good questions eddie the ones we all need to ask ourselves, everybody, no one is exempt.

God Bless and Regards Tony

Many people do want peace; however, too many define peace in a counter-productive way. There are also many others who don’t give 2 hoots for peace, what they want is what *they *want, and they are willing to go to various lengths to get it. Are the truly peace-loving people to just allow themselves to be run over by these people?
There is a saying about laying down with dogs and waking up with fleas.

I understand and even tend to agree with you. But then I start to wonder if that is more of a base human reaction or a Spirit filled reaction.

I have come to the conclusion I don’t know.

I would say a good majority of people do want peace. This is what Christ wants too as he said in Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” and Matthew 5:44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,”
But Tony, Satan tries to destroy what God loves and wants. In some way shape or form evil infiltrates the minds of people …and a prime example of this North Korea. Who have no belief in God at all…and if you look at them the wrong way , they threaten war.
As the saying goes…
No God No peace. Know God Know peace

Yes JimmyDGF we are here to know and Love God.

God created us in His Image and gave free will to choose to reflect that image which is Light or not to reflect the Light which is darkness.

We all have to aim to be reflectors of the Light.

Tony, What about those who think they are reflecting light but are being manipulated by satan?

what does this concept of “unity for mankind” mean to those who are using it in this thread?
To me, it means exactly the kinds of thing Pope Francis has been doing, to reach out with love and respect to all the peoples of the world, no matter their religions or beliefs.

I could not think of a better modern-day example of someone tirelessly working for the unity of humanity!

God guides all hearts that yearn after Him and all hearts that do not.

All people reflect the Light of God to the extent they live the virtues and allow the Unconstrained to flow through them.

If one chooses darkness over the Light of Unity, we can only help by allowing more light to shine from our own selves.

Tony, When Christ gave us the warning in Matthew 24:11-12
“Many false prophets will arise and deceive many;
and because of the increase of evildoing, the love of many will grow cold.”

Are these the same people who you say “reflect the Light of God”?

The Light can only be reflected if the mirror of the heart is turned unto God. All good is from God. The rest is from ones own self.

One has to judge the Truth from the False, may all hearts reflect Justice when the Judgememt is considered.

Nice ML. Although Pope Francis always champions The Holy Trinity for Christians as the prime example how unity can be found .

The love, unity and joy in the relationship among the Father, Son and Holy Spirit should be the supreme model of our relationships within our Christian families. Our families become truly Christian when we live in a relationship of love with God and with others.

More here: en.radiovaticana.va/news/2016/05/20/holy_trinity_sunday–_may_22,_2016/1231147

So there not so much about unity of mankind but relationship with one another. Respect and dignity for our fellow man.

“It is beautiful to see how the Lord is capable of changing hearts, turning a hardened, stubborn heart into one docile to the Holy Spirit. All of us have a hardened heart. All of us. Let us ask the Lord that He make us see that hardness of heart leaves us on the ground. Let us ask Him to give us the grace and – if necessary – the humiliations not to remain on the ground but to rise, with the dignity with which God created us, that is, the grace of a heart open and docile to the Holy Spirit.”

Peace be with you.

I understand what you are trying to say. But further proof, we can achieve the fullness of faith through the public and divine expression of love. This is possible, and in this possibility I hope for.

Yes I read both those links.

Questions - No matter what you believe, who and what the Devil and Evil is, in the end;

Who’s choice is it to Accept and follow God and Live the Virtues? and

Who answers for that choice before our God?

It should also be considered if one teaches this Devil and Evil is so very very clever at this deception, then it is most plausible that it is those same people that think they have overcome the deception, may in the end be the most deceived.
