I saw an article a while back about the super collider (not the Higgs Boson thing). In this case the instruments detected the same sub atomic particle at two places at one time. If there are any experts out there please expound. (I figured the philosophy forum would be the best place) What I was thinking is maybe it wasn’t the same particle at two places at one time… but the same particle at two times at one time. Maybe time is the variable and not space (especially at these super high speeds and sub atomic sizes). I think it’s pretty clever but I am a B student from an average state school that majored in Business Management. Thoughts? Implications?

I doubt if the particle was at two places at the same time; nevertheless perhaps it might have been a reflection currently undetected as such.

Nothing can be and not be at the same time in the same respect. ( St. Thomas and all people who can thing straint about reality.) 👍
