Does anybody have any tips for praying the Rosary while at work? I’m a Receptionist, so I’m interrupted a lot by phones, tasks, etc, and every time I have tried to pray the Rosary, I get so distracted that I totally forget to finish. Does anybody else have a method or a trick for incorporating the Rosary into your daily work, who works in an office/reception setting like mine? Thank you!

Download and install this. You can run it discretely and easily pick up where you left off after being interrupted.

With your job (what with all the interruptions) you might be better off praying it before work, after work, or during lunch.

I would pray the Rosary on the way to work, at lunch-sometimes with others, and on my way home. My boss, having me on the payroll, needed my full attention to my work. And my job was very demanding, rarely a spare moment. When time did allow, I would slip in an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be. Maybe you can say a decade at a time at your desk. Using a written Rosary prayer card is a help. General rule, when you pray, go to a quiet place. God bless you.

I really think that you should take time out of your free time rather than your work time for praying. If you must, keep your rosary in a pocket so you can pray if you have to wait. Perhaps put a paperclip or something on it so you don’t lose your place. The point is not to show off the fact that you are praying.
