Thank You:) I think being pregnant again and being sick this time around has thrown my energy level down a notch than what it used to be, but seeing replies like yours and others gives me strength and hope that things will get easier:) God Bless!

I want to start bringing him again but don’t know how to make it through mass with him always wanting to run etc:/ this is mine and my husband’s first child so We are still navigating the parenting waters and figuring out what works and what doesn’t etc…
when my boys were this age, my husband and I went to separate Masses. I enjoyed the peaceful hour and so did he. I never felt ‘guilty’ about attending as a single or leaving the kids at home. When I felt they were ready to start attending Mass without being too difficult we began taking them. Some kids need more time to learn to manage their own behavior.

For us, we stopped taking him. Mass wouldn’t even start and our toddler needed to be up and moving, I could hit 3,000 steps on a Sunday.

Lately, I’ve been staying home with him when my wife and kids go. He’s starting to get better, so he goes once in a while now.

I guess my $.02 is if you have an area to take him to walk, utilize it. All the parents there are used to others getting up and taking their kid out. We’ve all been there before.
