I feel as sorry for those other denominations as I do for ours, and I don’t feel like throwing stones . It’s too tragic for all of us…😦
 
How does it feel to be on the other side SIA? Over 400,000 Protestant ministers compared to 26,000 Catholic priests who were accused. Think about it.
 
I don’t think people that left because of the scandals are anything to worry about

When the going gets tough, there will always be deserters…The rest of us have rolled up our sleeves and done our best to make things better…Our church is stronger and cleaner than it has ever been…Remember people said nasty things about Christ too?

They said He ate with sinners for one thing…I would rather have a committed Catholic in the pew next to me, than someone just occupying space

Hypothetically If in 1981 i was abused and my friends were what are we to learn?

None of my friends come to mass with me. Are they right or wrong?

Am i wrong for going to mass?

The teachers of the Catholic church taught me that priests are specially chosen by God and lots of other things.

What am i to learn? Priests still tell me they can intercede between me and God.

Do you think i would want that?

The Catholic leaders appologise for the actions of the priest but how do they justify ordination?

Does the hirachy of the Catholic church say we were wrong to ordain him?

I am real tiered of the lack of appology, if i was to speak with them they would give me money, big deal how will that hep you?

Dont we all need to be honest about how the appointments are made?

Would that be a true appology?

Oh wait up, lets just cash up the victims and say that we will support mandatory reporting.

Is mandatory reporting be justified in scripture.

My opinion is that forgiveness is better than an eye for an eye.

Poke enough eyes out and you will be “seen” to be just. LOL

This is real close to the truth, feel sorry for people who need God, we people give Him the bad reputation.

As for those who are devout to denominations it is an opportunity to declare their denomination does not have it right.

That you cant hand faith on it needs to be sought by individuals in a community.

We report any evidence of it to the respective receptants. We make sure that it is dealt with and not stuffed under the rug. I concede that it evolves everywhere, but the real problem is when it is ignored or the problem people moved to avoid responsibility.

It makes me wonder why they need to dwell on the sins of others, perhaps to make themselves look better?

I dont follow, because the Catholic church stoot against hitlers suppression of truth you now praise it unresevidly?

Was it the only issue you had?

If the Catholic church is doing or done good isnt it God we should praise?

I will go further, if you now praise it without reservation you must be about to join.
