Possibly…I don’t know, as we have no need for it. But, that is a fair point to make. I am all for cutting off contraceptive coverage by insurance companies. I am against the government requiring insurance coverage for contraception, or abortion, or non-married individuals.
So, you’re saying that a person who is not married shouldn’t have insurance coverage?

Anyone else tired of this subject?

It’s being drilled to us to the teeth in the media, and all this stuff gets endlessly presented here. I’m tired of it. I don’t think many people at this point are likely to be changing their minds anytime soon. . . in fact, the opposite, a backlash, is likely.

I’m feeling “homosexual agenda fatigue”. Anyone else?🙂
Amen

If everyone were really tired of the gay topics we shouldn’t see them come up from the conservative or the liberal side.

Um… I don’t think, just because we are tired of them means, that we shouldn’t address important issues. Is that what you think?

Then put up with some difference of opinion. Otherwise it no longer consitutes discussion, just a one sided chitchat which can be so boring. Discussion involves the exchange of differing opinions.

There is no room for opinion when it concerns Church Doctrines…
The Church’s view on homosexuality will not change. Period.

What the Holy Spirit constitutes as sin cannot change, otherwise He would be a liar.

G.K Chesterton once said, don’t be to open minded, your brains might spill out.

Then don’t start the threads. These forums invite non catholics as well as Catholics. They are going to have different opinions and they are free to have them. The only way you can drum them out is to restrict membership to card carrying Catholics only. I’m bowing out of these stupid threads just to show how tired I am of them. In fact I am bowing out of CAF. Goodbye all.

You seem to have lost the point during this discussion.

I remember saying the above.

Just because our opinions do not count toward Church doctrine doesn’t mean we shouldn’t discuss the problems, annoyances, and all the other stuff about homosexuality. I don’t think, just because we are tired of them means, that we shouldn’t address important issues

And BTW: people like your are the ones that make these threads stupid.

You certainly fit you name.

Goodbye.

That is a personal attack but I will not report it as a problem post, even though it is within my right.

Yep. We don’t need that. 😦

The length of this thread seems to support the OP’s frustration.

My, my, we seem to get heated about this topic, don’t we?

Time to close it, methinks. 👍

I’m sorry if I ‘offended’ you! :doh2:

I guess I get a little riled when people, who are Catholic, throw ideas out their that are contrary to Church teaching and then try to justify them.

I apologize for calling you stupid and I’ll try to keep my cool next time 👍

Personal fatigue with an issue does not excuse giving it the attention and discussion that it deserves. Issues surrounding same-sex attraction go straight to the heart of what it means to be human and are therefore an appropriate topic for the Faithful to discuss.

True, but you can certainly see how seeing the **same people **hash over the same opinions time after time can seem like a waste of time or even counterproductive, no? 🙂
