Hello,

I was wondering if there are any Latin masses offered in the Los Angeles area (San Fernando Valley) that are approved by the Church. I’ve never been and would like to see our roots (and I’m not showing preference to either TL or NO Masses, as both have been offered by the Magisterium). I’ve seen several Latin Masses in my area but that are not “official” and are performed in women’s centers and shopping malls. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you.

I live in LA; never heard of TLM’s in shopping malls!

The archdiocesan list is outdated; Thomas Aquinas College offers it every Sunday now, and St. Peter’s and Paul in Wilmington offer it every Sunday at 6:30

Thank you for the help!

On this note, what would appropriate attire be for men and women?
I’m not planning on dressing “casual” (I never try to for any Mass) but I still would not want to offend anyone, especially being a newcomer to TLM.

I just started going myself and I simply wear a collared shirt, untucked, jeans, and boots. Some women wear mantillas but it appears TLMs don’t have a specific dress code.
