Not sure if this is where to put this- but would like some thoughts- i grew up in the 60’s and vaguely remember the TLM, want to go as there is a parish about half an hour away that offers it, my husband is a convert and never experienced the TLM and has no interest in going- almost resentful of my interest- any thoughts what to do? i also have been trying to find tlm podcast, any suggestions?

It is an experience of a lifetime! I prefer it over the Novus Ordro. My mother-in-law actually loved it when my bride and I took her. I would just ask him to do this one small thing for you.

If you like the EF, you’ll LOVE the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.

Sanctamissa is a WONDERFUL resource for learning about the Extraordinary Form. The online tutorial for priests has videos and captions showing where the priest is at in the service. Also, surprisingly, youtube is a pretty good resource, as well.

I am 22 and this is my prefered form of Mass (although I do enjoy the Ordinary Form as well). I have really been blessed learning more about the EF, and it has complimented my understand of the OF.

May God bless you as you learn more about the EF.
