Hello
I have recently started attending Mass at a nearby church that is run by ICKSP and so therefore is exclusively traditional. I have been trying to get to grips with the Latin as well as the general order of the proceedings with varying degrees of success.
However, I have noticed that there are 2 elements that for some reason I cannot find in either the Missal offered by the LMS (Latin Mass Society) or in my own Missal (1962). Each Sunday (Mass is a Sung Mass by the way) after the reading of the Collect, the little red Missal states that the reading of the Epistle should follow. However, before the reading of the Epistle there is a another reading that I cannot find anywhere. Also at the end of Mass, following the final blessing & the last Gospel, we have yet another reading.
I am at a loss as to what these readings are and wondered if anybody had any idea as to what they could possibly be.
Thanks for any help.
