If I had a chance to return to Europe, Austria would be on my itinerary.

You may see some Ordinariate Use there but you’ll also see OF and EF (plus there’s the Orthodox). It’s a really special place and incredibly ecumenical.

Faith and prayer. And remember God doesn’t always answer prayers with what we want or expect. Sometimes what we want or expect isn’t what’s right for us.

I understand that Walsingham is shared by the Anglicans and Catholics. I was unaware of the Orthodox presence. Learn something new every day. 💡

Wow, say thanks very much and go to Lourdes with your parents.

Understand healing is God’s will. It’s Gods will if our prayers are answered for healing.

But what a wonderful pilgrimage.

Why not simply have that conversation with them.
Then the decision is up to them and you don’t need to feel bad either way.

I have been to both.
There is no guarantee of physical healing at either but why not try if you believe in each.
Lourdes is a very special place to pilgrimage to.
If someone offered me that trip again I wouldn’t hesitate.
But don’t go there is winter!

Only concern I have is that the charismatic event (today) is a month away from the Lourdes trip ><

I have already had a conversation with them, but they become very sensitive whenever I talk about my Godparent (who is in charge of the charismatic event). So, eventually, the conversation fails.

I think the only way I can do is to not go for the charismatic event and focus on something else, rather than my Godparent.

Please pray for me to have a great and spiritually refreshing experience at Lourdes!

That’s the Spirit! I would love to go on pilgrimage. You are so fortunate! Our Lady is working in your life, surely.
