These words are in one of the meditations found in the book ‘Divine Intimacy’. Other words in this same meditation include “love is not a sentiment”.

How close is my desire to love and for love in contrast to this statement: “To love is to will good to God”?

The best “good” that we can give to God is to learn to seek His will in all circumstances of each of our remaining days, since His will is always to seek the greatest good imaginable: Divine communion with Him now and later in heaven.

Have I let one hour pass without offering something new to my Father God, a new task, a new worry, a new act of charity, a new desire to please Him with my trust?
