I do so love Proverbs, and the one you posted is one we all do well to adopt. The motivation of Ps. 133 might be a starting point:
"Behold, how good it is, and how pleasant where brethren dwell at one! It is as when the precious ointment upon the head runs down over the beard … for there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, life forever!"
Ah, unity!
I thought much about your message in the context of this psalm and the beautiful life of our Pope, who made strident, constant efforts to bring all men “at one” with one another.
Wouldn’t it be good to start a thread about our favorite proverbs and how they influenced us?
