Thankyou for sharing this! I can appreciate this symbolism that you speak of. God has many ways to speak to “common people” today - it is encouraging to dwell on that thought this christmas season.
Howdy Javl! May I please ask what the two “shalom” words mean in this post? The one is in your signature; but I am now also curious about the other one too.
No problem my friend. Shalom is the word for peace and HaMeshiach means of the Messiah. Therefore Shalom haMeshiach bestows the Peace of the Messiah, who is Jesus. The other Shalom basically calls for peace to and on all. Another greeting I also use is Shalom Chevarim: peace to my friends.
Since Christianity is a fullfillment and completion of Judaism, I highly recommend that all Christians make an effort to learn the language of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Shalom haMeshiach.
