If this guy is a Presbyterian, why don’t we just find him some old Presbyterian material that teaches that contraception is wrong?

Of course, this might not be super-easy to find, because it was one of those things that people didn’t really want to talk about in public. But certainly the Presbyterian churches had no affection for contraception or abortion, back in the day.

If he’s unchurched he shouldn’t be making comments about another faith he knows nothing about. It seems to me he’s just yanking your chain, wanting to get a rise out of you. An unworthy thing to do to someone who has just rediscovered her faith. Ignore him. Responding seems to be the very thing he wants. How sad for him–and for you, my dear. Forgive him, love him in Christ, and leave him to God.

The Didache was written about the same time as the the book of Revelation, around 100AD.
