Go back and read your original post now and think about it. A lot of times when you write it down, walk away from it and come back to it later, you see things in a whole new light. I think you will really see what you need to see if you reread your original post.

The only person anyone can change is themselves. So if you think a person needs to be changed to fit in with your idea of life, you need to look elsewhere. People can and do change some, but you don’t change them. They change themselves from motivation within themselves. You can’t imagine how much heartache will go into hitching yourself to someone you think you want to change.

You want him more than he wants you. Not good. Guys in general are better when they are hot for you.

Many women are attracted to the “danger and excitement” some men bring to the relationship. Not a good combo for a lifetime commitment. Some women are attracted because they think they can mold the man into their ideal. Wrong! Get a guy that meets your ideal and doesn’t have the “danger and excitement” factor. That doesn’t provide for much stability.

I do feel bad for young women today. Men get so much free these days that it impedes them from looking for commitment and stability. It used to be that if they were getting freebies, it wasn’t a girl to bring home to meet mom. Now mom could be living with some guy herself. Not much in standards these days.

The dreaded danger and excitement factor. It is sad to watch as even smart women fall for it. On the other hand, men have their own traps too. We always do the saving thing and thus often fall for someone with issues, sometimes manipulative. And while freebies don’t make you bring the girl to mum, guys take freebies when offered and sometimes a glimpse of an escaping freebie makes a guy do stupid things. Ever had a cat that was an avid hunter? Could probably be driven mad by wiggling a piece of ham in your fingers. And would do tricks to get it.
